We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join the PDK team and drive AI‑enabled automation for EDA workflows.

The role will focus on building smart scripts, validation pipelines, and ML models that streamline PDK, regression, and verification activities.

Develop & maintain Python‑based automation frameworks for PDK regression suites.

Integrate AI/ML models (e.g., anomaly detection, rule‑generation, predictive failure analysis)

into existing EDA toolchains (Calibre, Synopsys, Cadence).

Create data pipelines to ingest simulation, extraction, and layout data for regression.

Collaborate with PDK engineers, QA leads, to translate functional requirements into automated solutions.

Document code, workflows, provide training/knowledge‑transfer sessions for internal users.

Support troubleshooting of automation failures and continuously improve reliability and performance.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years of hands‑on automation development in a semiconductor or EDA environment.

Proven track record of delivering AI‑enhanced tooling or scripts that reduced manual effort or improved accuracy.
