Role Description – Automation Engineer
Preferred Location: Chennai
Experience: 5-10 Years’ Experience
Must Have:
- Experience in test automation and building frameworks from scratch.
- Hands-on development experience with Typescript and JavaScript or Typescript based automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with the Playwright OR Cypress automation framework.
- Experience with backend API automation.
- Proficient with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
- Strong understanding of software test automation best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with API testing using Bruno or Postman is preferred.
- Experience with AWS and building CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Familiarity with handling sensitive data (HIPAA, PCI, PII compliance) is preferred.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and point of sale hardware testing is preferred.
- Experience in security/penetration, performance, and load testing.
