Required Skills & Experience
• Hands-on experience testing insurance billing workflows (e.g., premium payments, commissions, cancellations, reinstatements, refunds, batch cycles)
• Proven experience designing and building test automation solutions across both frontend and backend systems
• Experience automating tests for integrations, APIs, downstream applications, and batch processing
• Proficiency with UI automation tools (Playwright preferred; Cypress or Selenium acceptable)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, or similar)
• Ability to validate backend and batch data using SQL
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and how automated tests integrate into delivery pipelines (hands-on setup is not required)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience testing Majesco Billing or other Majesco insurance platforms
• Prior experience testing commercial or P&C insurance systems
• Experience extending or influencing automation frameworks or test strategy
• Familiarity with modern automation or AI-assisted testing practices

An insurance client is seeking a senior-level QA Automation Engineer to support its billing platform, including a Majesco-based billing application. This role focuses on designing, building, and executing automated test solutions for complex insurance billing workflows across frontend applications, backend integrations, downstream systems, and batch processing. The engineer will work closely with developers, product owners, and QA leadership to identify risk early, validate high-impact billing scenarios, and ensure reliable end-to-end testing across integrated insurance systems. This is an automation-first role that emphasizes systems thinking and billing domain expertise rather than manual test execution.
